A Four-Year-Old's Favorite Joke

Mason loves to tell this joke. Over and over again.

I can't help but laugh every time, not because it's that funny after the 50th time but because of the smile on his face.

"Knock, knock."
"Who's there?"
"Banana."
"Banana who?"
"Banana."
"Banana who?"
"Banana."
"Banana who?"
"Banana."
"Banana who?!?!"
"Orange."
"Orange who?"
"Orange you glad I didn't say banana?"

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Here's the comedian cracking himself up.

I LOVE that joke.

My grandchildren were heavily into the knock-knock jokes this time they visited.

Mostly the hilarious (?) made-up ones.

My youngest son told that joke over and over and over again when he was about 5 - he's 30 now, so I guess it must be a classic!

I guess that joke has been around forty years. It seems I heard that from my son who will be forty December 17th. And my 27 and 25-year-old regaled me with the "banana" joke years after and for several years each.

I'm sorry to break it to you but that's actually one of my favorite jokes, too.

Yikes. I guess that says something about my immature sense of humor - ha!

Thanks for the joyous link to Alphabe-Thursday.

This was so happy!
